The Organisational Development and Learning Team can support your development journey from the moment you begin your career with the Education Authority to the end of your career. Our support includes   

• Regular bitesize training,
• Leadership and management training, and
• Bespoke consultancy support.

Our four core areas for career development are: 

• The Individual: We will support you with our range of learning and development opportunities which includes:
  • Induction
  • Bitesize training
  • Lunch and Learn sessions
  • Coaching
• The Manager: We support you through our Game Changing People Programmes designed especially for managers at all levels alongside a range of learning and development opportunities which includes:
  • Induction
  • Leadership and Management
  • Performance Achievement Conversations
• The Team: We will support teams through our new consultancy approach which provides  bespoke support for individual teams.
• The Organisation: Through our people plan we will engage and support you.

This plan aims to support and develop all colleagues, enabling them to contribute positively to the mission of providing high-quality education for every child in Northern Ireland.

The EA Game Changing People Model has been designed to support achievements of our organisational priorities and inform our Organisational Development and Learning plans, with a particular focus on priorities for:

• Developing ALL our people to carry out their jobs successfully.
• Nurturing Leadership across the EA to give clear direction in a dynamic and complex environment.

These comprise of short sessions facilitated at lunchtime to engage staff in a range of topics from hobbies to personal achievements. These sessions can be accessed by booking through the link below.
